SAMPLE QUESTIONS

Basic Theory Test (BTT) is to test your knowledge on.

1) Rules and regulations of the road.
2) The traffic signs and signals.

Upon passing the BTT, you can apply for a Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) which will allow you to practise driving on the public roads.

It is a computer-based test consisting of 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ) which will have to be completed within 50minutes.

A Pass is 90% which is 45 out of 50 to answer correctly. You will know your results immediately after the test.

Final Theory Test (FTT) is to

1) Test your knowledge on the safety aspects.
2) Proper techniques of driving.

IMPORTANT - You need to pass the Practical Driving Test within 2 years of passing the FTT. Otherwise, you need to re-sit for the FTT again.

It is a computer-based test consisting of 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ) which will have to be completed within 50minutes.

A Pass is 90% which is 45 out of 50 to answer correctly.

You will know your results immediately after the test.

2) the traffic signs and signals.

CONVERSION PROCEDURE

PASS YOUR BASIC THEORY TEST

In order to drive in Singapore, a valid foreign license may be used if you are a foreigner above 18 years of age and holding a Work Pass/Dependent Pass/Student Pass. This is for a period of not more than 12 months. For periods more than 12 months, Singapore License is required.
